To ensure the highest quality of production and a professional environment for all artists, engineers, and session talent, the following policies apply to all bookings made with Morgeez Records.
Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure any studio time or talent booking. Your session is not confirmed until the deposit is received.
Balance: The remaining 50% must be settled prior to the start of the session.
Payment Methods: We accept EFT, secure online payments via morgeez.com, and major credit/debit cards. Cash is not accepted on-site unless by prior arrangement.
Selection: Morgeez Records acts as the facilitator for session talent. While we vet all musicians for quality, specific creative outcomes are a collaboration between the Artist and the Talent.
Preparation: Artists must provide demo tracks, lyrics, or reference material at least 48 hours before the session to allow talent to prepare.
Usage Rights: Booking rates cover the performance for the specific recording session. Standard “Work for Hire” terms apply unless a separate royalty-sharing agreement is signed. Commercial sync licensing for TV/Film may require additional clearances.
Notice Period: We require at least 48 hours’ notice for any rescheduling.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
No-Shows: If an artist is more than 60 minutes late without notification, the session will be canceled, and the full deposit will be forfeited.
Arrival: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. Your session clock begins at the booked time, regardless of arrival.
Attendance: To maintain a focused creative environment, we limit guests to two (2) non-performing attendees per session unless cleared in advance.
Equipment: Clients are responsible for any damage caused to studio property (microphones, instruments, consoles) due to negligence or misconduct.
Substance Policy: Morgeez Recording Studio is a professional workplace. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
Storage: We maintain project backups for 30 days post-session. We strongly recommend clients bring an external drive to take their raw stems or sessions home immediately.
Turnaround: Standard turnaround for rough mixes is 24–48 hours. Mastering and final mixing timelines will be outlined in your specific project quote.
Release: Final high-resolution files will only be released once the full project balance is cleared.

You can book directly via our website or by contacting us on WhatsApp. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and time.

Yes, all of our studio hire packages include a professional Morgeez engineer to run the session, ensuring you get the highest quality capture.
Yes, we welcome outside engineers. However, a Morgeez assistant must still be present to oversee the equipment, and our standard hourly rates still apply.
To maintain a productive creative environment, we allow a maximum of two (2) guests in the control room in addition to the performing artists.
The talents supply related questions
If your track needs professional vocals, live guitar, or a custom beat, we provide vetted session musicians. You provide the brief/demo, and we handle the booking and session management.
Standard bookings are “Work for Hire,” meaning the artist owns the recording for that specific project. For commercial broadcasting or major label releases, specific royalty agreements may be discussed.
Post-production related questions
Rough mixes are usually delivered within 24–48 hours. For full mixing and mastering, the timeline depends on the project size, typically ranging from 3 to 7 business days.
We store session backups for 30 days. We strongly advise all clients to bring an external hard drive to every session to take their data home.
We deliver high-quality WAV (24-bit/44.1kHz or 48kHz) files and high-bitrate MP3s. If you require specific formats for vinyl or Atmos, please let us know in advance.
